WEN JUNHUI

(文俊辉), professionally known as JUN, is a Chinese singer, actor, dancer, and songwriter from Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. Born on June 10, 1996, he is best known as a member of the South Korean boy group SEVENTEEN and its Performance Team.Before becoming a K-pop idol, Junhui began his career as a child actor in China. He appeared in commercials, television productions, and films from a young age. Among his early notable works was The Pye Dog (2007), for which he received the Silver Award for New Performer of the Year from the Hong Kong Film Directors' Guild and was nominated for Best New Performer at the Hong Kong Film Awards. He later portrayed a young Ip Man in The Legend Is Born: Ip Man (2010).In 2012, Junhui became a trainee under PLEDIS Entertainment and eventually made his official debut with SEVENTEEN in May 2015. As a member of the Performance Team, he has participated in the group's music, performances, and numerous activities throughout his career.Alongside his group activities, Junhui has continued to develop his solo music career, releasing Chinese-language songs including “Can You Sit By My Side,” “Crow,” “Limbo,” and “Psycho.” His song “Limbo” earned him the New Singer-Songwriter of the Year award at the Tencent Music Entertainment Awards.Junhui also returned to acting as an adult, taking the lead role of Ling Chao in the 2023 iQIYI drama Exclusive Fairytale. His performance earned him recognition at the 2023 Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards, including Rising Star of the Year. He later expanded his film career with projects including The Shadow's Edge.Beyond music and acting, Junhui has participated in variety programs and represented various brands and organizations. In 2024, he was also appointed as a travel ambassador for his hometown of Shenzhen and became an ambassador for several brands.From his beginnings as a child actor in China to becoming a K-pop idol, solo artist, and established actor, Wen Junhui continues to explore different areas of entertainment and grow as an artist. His journey reflects his versatility, dedication, and passion for trying new things.

Nickname / Public Image

Junhui’s striking visuals have earned him several affectionate nicknames from fans. In Japan, he is known as “The Miracle of Mainland” (大陸の奇跡), while fans in China have nicknamed him “Big Beauty” (大漂亮).He is also fondly known as the “Little Prince of Shenzhen Metro” (深圳地铁小王子). The nickname comes from a series of public service announcements Junhui filmed for the Shenzhen Metro when he was still in middle school. Remarkably, the videos continue to be shown on certain trains in Shenzhen, allowing his younger self to remain a familiar face to commuters even years later.
